This legal background is complemented by MRICS Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which evidences recognised professional competence, ethical standards, and capability across cost management, valuation, commercial leadership, and contract administration. The academic profile is underpinned by a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying, establishing a robust technical grounding in construction economics, measurement, and project controls.

This exposure to complex, multi-stakeholder project environments helped shape a disciplined, evidence-led approach to change evaluation, risk allocation, and commercial reporting. Since establishing Shepherd Consultants, this expertise has been further applied to support clients and subcontractors in achieving fair and commercially robust outcomes on projects of varying size and complexity.
